Salidat Kairbekova National Research Center for Health Development (NRCHD) invites you to participate in an online conference: Healthcare in Kazakhstan: Challenges, Opportunities, Vision, on September 24, 2021,

The conference aims to celebrate the assignment of a new status and name of Salidat Kairbekova to NRCHD and Kazakhstan's Independence 30th Anniversary. Salidat Kairbekova was a prominent politician, Doctor of medical sciences, the first female Minister of Health of Independent Kazakhstan.



The purpose of the event is to discuss developing the national health care system and implementing the main direction "Improving the Efficiency of the Healthcare System" of the State of the Nation Address by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, dated September 1, 2021.

The conference will become a platform for discussing such topical issues of the development of the healthcare system as:
-Affordable and high-quality medical care;
-Development of human resources in health care;
-Formation of a modern system of epidemiological forecasting and response;
-Available medicines and medical devices;
-Increasing the proportion of the population leading a healthy lifestyle and the development of mass sports;
-Increasing the efficiency of financing medical care.

Representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and other international organizations and foreign partners, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, subordinate organizations, local executive bodies, Atameken, healthcare professionals, researchers, and academia will attend the conference.
